Name: St Alfege Church
About: A project organised by St Alfege Church, each year. Greenwich homes, shops, pubs, schools and community groups open their windows in a living Advent Calendar. A window “opens” every day between December 1st and 24th then stays open until January 2nd. This year’s theme is “Cast away the dreams of darkness“. Each window is prepared by volunteers using a range of media, from multimedia installations to paintings, models and stained glass.
